Every New Day was a metallic hardcore/emo three piece band originated in Winnipeg, Canada, composed of brothers Murray Campbell (guitar and lead vocals) and Scott Campbell (Bass guitar and vocals) and Matt Colonval (drums). Every New Day is considered to become Winnipeg, Canada’s next breakout band, following in the footsteps of such hometown favorites as Comeback Kid and Figure Four. The band has created a remarkably thick sound in comparison to their sparse line up. They have already toured with such notable acts as With Honor, Embrace Today, Evergreen Terrace, and Comeback Kid, as well as played the Cornerstone Festival in Illinois and been featured on the television show Steel Roots.
Their first album for Hand of Hope Records is 2005's album is The Shadows Cast. Every New Day’s second release for Hand of Hope, Even in the Darkest Places, was recorded at High North Studios with Winnipeg native John Paul Peters (Comeback Kid, Figure Four).
